How Can You Help?

A donation to the Texas High School Coaches Education Foundation is a solid investment in the professional education of our coaches and, by extension, the education of our student-athletes.

A major focus of the foundation is a comprehensive continuing education program to support the coaches' ongoing efforts to hone their professional skills and enhance their personal development.

To maintain and advance these all important programs and education services we need your financial help. Your support is crucial to the student-athletes whose future, in large measure, depends on highly motivated, well-educated, caring coaches.

The Texas High School Coaches Education Foundation is a section 501(c)3 non-profit, tax exempt corporation. Opportunities to give are available to individuals, groups, schools, companies and/or corporations.

Some examples of tax-deductible giving opportunities for groups, schools, companies and/or corporations:
 - Cash
 - Memorial Gifts
 - Corporate Sponsorship
 - Corporate Matching of Donations
 - Fundraising Events, i.e. Golf Tournaments or Banquets

Some suggestions for THSCA member coaches and individual contributions:
Individual tax-deductible donations: No contribution is too small. Small contributions by a large number of individual donors are necessary to maintain the Foundation's status as a publicly supported tax-exempt charity. The Foundation must receive at least one-third of its support from a large number of donors (i.e. the general public). That means every dollar that a member coach or individual contributes opens the door for maximum benefit from larger donations. These individual contributions allow us to receive larger donations from from other organizations, including other foundations.

Coaches can participate in the "Our Day to Shine" Campaign each year. You may participate at your Spring Game or your pre-season scrimmages in the fall. All information including posters, forms, and instructions are available by clicking on the Our Day to Shine link on the left hand menu. All money received from this initiative goes directly to the Benevolence Fund in order to assist those in need.

Coaches can consider Memorial Donations. These donations can be made to the Texas High School Coaches Education Foundation (THSCEF) in memory of a coach or family member who has passed away.
